Mr. Goutman is a director and head of the finance & operations activities for RobecoSAM Private Equity. He oversees all finance and operational related activities for RobecoSAM Private Equity, including fund accounting and reporting, management accounting, taxes, risk management, internal control and (regulatory) fund compliance. Prior to joining Robeco in March 2015, Mr. Goutman was an Executive Director within the asset management practice of Ernst & Young Accountants (EY). In this role, he gained over 15 years of experience in the asset management industry, mainly in audit and advisory engagements for a broad range of private equity funds, hedge funds, mutual funds and investment managers and advisors, including various AIFMD and other regulatory assignments. During his time at EY, Mr. Goutman also worked in the asset management practice of EY New York, U.S.A. for two years. Mr. Goutman holds an M.Sc. in Business Administration and a graduate degree in auditing from Tilburg University. He is a certified public accountant in the Netherlands (Registeraccountant), a United States Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and member of the State of New Hampshire Board of Accountancy.

Andrew joined Cerberus Capital Management in early 2007 as the Chief Compliance Officer and Co-General Counsel, overseeing the compliance and legal functions of the firm’s private equity, lending, real estate and trading activities. 

Prior to joining Cerberus, Andrew spent over 8 years at Merrill Lynch as First Vice President in charge of state regulation and government relations.

Before that Andrew was the Chief of the Investor Protection & Securities Bureau at the New York State Attorney General's Office.  He also served as Assistant Deputy Attorney General helping supervise the Environmental, Antitrust, Charities, Civil Rights, Consumer Fraud and Real Estate Finance Bureaus.

Andrew also spent time in the Enforcement Division of the New York Stock Exchange.  He began his legal career in 1986 as an Assistant District Attorney in Manhattan where he investigated and prosecuted hundreds of criminal matters ranging from Arson and Robbery to Grand Larceny and Murder. 

Special Agent David A. Chaves is a senior FBI Official assigned to the New York Division. He serves as the securities fraud program manager for the most visible securities cases prosecuted over the last decade. He is widely recognized as the chief strategist in coordinating these complex white collar investigations and for infiltrating corrupt participants in the hedge fund industry through the use of sophisticated techniques, undercover operations, and wire taps. He is a securities fraud subject matter expert and lectures to audiences in both the public and private sector on securities fraud, FCPA, and cyber threats to the financial industry.  Prior to joining the FBI he was a civil litigation attorney in Boston, MA.

Killian is a Managing Director and Head of Regulatory and Compliance Consulting services in Ireland. Killian acts as Director, Designated Person and MLRO of a number of UCITS and AIFMs.

Killian previously worked in stockbroking and corporate finance with leading Irish firms. A graduate of Trinity College Dublin and the Michael Smurfit Graduate School of Business, Killian sits on a number of Irish Funds industry working groups, and was previously Co-Chair of its Marketing Committee.

Killian Buckley joined Duff & Phelps in January 2015 from Kinetic Partners. As a result of Duff & Phelps’ acquisition of Kinetic Partners, Duff & Phelps created a dedicated Compliance and Regulatory Consulting Practice.

Jim McGovern is a partner in the New York office of Hogan Lovells where he is a white collar defense attorney and part of the firm’s cross-jurisdictional Global Bribery and Corruption Task Force, which consists of lawyers involved in large-scale investigations across international borders and various industry sectors.

Jim has extensive experience in the investigation and prosecution of domestic and international financial crimes, including those committed by banks and hedge funds.  He has significant experience involving Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) violations, commercial bribery, theft and destruction of trade secrets, securities and corporate fraud, and criminal forfeiture.

Jim previously served as the Chief of the Criminal Division in the United States Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of New York (“EDNY”), where he managed approximately 115 federal prosecutors in criminal investigations and prosecutions concerning virtually every aspect of white collar and violent crime.  Prior to joining the EDNY’s front office, Jim served as the Deputy Chief of the Business and Securities Fraud Section.  There, he supervised approximately 15 experienced AUSAs in corporate, securities and investment fraud and FCPA investigations and trials, and personally investigated and tried cases involving complex accounting fraud and securities fraud, including insider trading, committed by hedge funds.  He also served as the EDNY’s liaison to various government and regulatory agencies, including the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Federal Reserve and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority. 

Among his many awards and commendations, Jim received the 2015 Department of Justice’s Director’s Award for Superior Performance by an AUSA, the 2013 New York Police Department Detectives’ Endowment Association’s “Person of the Year” and Federal Law Enforcement Foundation’s “Prosecutor of the Year” awards, and the 2010 EDNY award for “Outstanding Performance by an AUSA.”       

Will Jenkins is global co-Head of Operational Due Diligence for Amundi Alternative Investments. He joined Amundi AI in 2007 as a Senior Analyst to set-up the Operational Due Diligence function and then run it for Europe & Asia based hedge fund managers. Prior to joining Amundi, he was an Operational Due Diligence Analyst at UBS Global Asset Management.  From 2003 to March 2007, he was an Head of Operational Due Diligence at FIM, where he was in charge of developing and running the operational due diligence process.  He has previously held positions at Morley Fund as Head of Alternative Investment Operations (2000 to 2003); as Finance Manager at Fidelity International, Ltd. (1998 to 2000) and began his career as a financial sector auditor at KPMG.

Will graduated from the London School of Economics with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Economics, is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and a UK SIP Level 3 member. In his spare time Will is learning to ball room dance and play golf

Prior to joining CapeView Capital as COO in 2011, Richard held COO / CFO positions at Montrica (2006 to 2011), OCH Johnson Capital (2005 to 2006), ABN AMRO (1999 to 2005) and Kemper / Zurich / Scudder (1995 to 1999). Richard trained with Deloitte Haskins & Sells before joining James Capel in 1987, where he was Head of Compliance / Company Secretary. He joined Solomon Brothers Asset Management in 1993 where he was Compliance Officer and Business Unit Manager. Richard is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and holds a BSc (2.1) in Management and Chemical Sciences from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology. He is Deputy Chairman of the Smaller Business Practitioner Panel at the FCA.

Simon joined Duet in 2014 as the group’s Chief Operating Officer. Simon was previously Partner and Chief Information Officer of Marshall Wace, where he was responsible for the development of the global proprietary technology platform and operational infrastructure. Simon joined Marshall Wace as a graduate in 1998 where from a start- up stage, he helped scale out its operational infrastructure to enable the firm to manage $15Bn in AUM. Simon went on to become the firm's Global Head of Operations, responsible for the development of the global operations and equity finance platform, helping establish the firm in the US, Europe and Asia. Simon holds a BA (Hons) in Business from Oxford Brooks University.

Hamish Boland-Rudder is the online editor for the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists, a nonprofit organization that specializes in cross-border, collaborative investigations. He joined ICIJ at the start of 2014, and has worked on all major ICIJ investigations since then, including Luxembourg Leaks, Swiss Leaks and the Panama Papers. Hamish oversees ICIJ’s digital production and online community engagement, and also plays a significant role in coordinating the efforts of journalists from around the world working together on global investigations. Before ICIJ, Hamish ran the breaking news website for The Canberra Times in Australia, and also spent time as a reporter writing for The Canberra Times, The Sydney Morning Herald, The Korea Herald, and various other publications.

Patricia L. Cushing is a Director of Compliance at National Futures Association (“NFA”). She has worked at NFA since 1990. Ms. Cushing's responsibilities included overseeing staff who conduct financial and compliance examinations, investigations and financial surveillance of brokerage firms in the commodity futures industry and assisting with the enhancement of NFA’s risk management systems. Currently, Ms. Cushing manages the design of the department's exam programs and software and is responsible for the training of the examination staff. She leads the Compliance Department’s Member education efforts, advises Members on compliance issues, and presents at industry conferences. Ms. Cushing has served as a primary liaison between NFA and the CFTC in the development of rules affecting Commodity Trading Advisors and Commodity Pool Operators.

Ms. Cushing is a graduate of Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Indiana (B.B.A. degree in finance/accounting and a minor in mathematics, magna cum laude). She is Certified Public Accountant, Certified Fraud Examiner and a Certified Regulatory Compliance Professional, having received this designation through the FINRA Institute at The Wharton School of Business.

Amy McCormick joined NFA in 2015 as a Managing Director of Compliance. Her responsibilities include oversee¬ing examinations, investigations, financial surveillance, and risk management teams. Prior to joining NFA, Ms. McCormick spent 12 years working for the CME Group. As Executive Director of Risk Management, her role included managing market risk, as well as leading the implementation of new risk management systems. Ms. McCormick’s position also entailed leading reviews of clearing firms to assess their risk management, financial, and operational procedures. Ms. Mc¬Cormick has a BS from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, an MS from Vanderbilt University, and an MBA from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago.

Anne has extensive experience in recruitment with The Panel. Anne joined The Panel in 1997 and set up their international division, placing financial services staff and accountants in the UK, Luxembourg, Jersey, Guernsey, Bermuda, USA, Cayman Islands and further afield. In 2000, Anne was promoted to Director with the objective of growing The Panel’s market share in the financial services sector in Ireland. Since 2000, Anne has successfully built up The Panel’s financial services division where they are seen as a key supplier to a large number of international funds companies, blue chip international and domestic banks and the insurance industry. Anne has been instrumental in developing The Panel’s product offering into Legal and Technology leveraging on our existing client base and developed relationships. She is currently responsible for executive recruitment within Financial Services in the Irish and overseas market and works with leading government bodies to attract new start-ups in Ireland.  Anne has extensive experience managing high profile, confidential searches in a highly discrete and professional manner.

Prior to joining Serengeti, Marc Baum was the General Counsel and a Partner of Offit Capital Advisors and a member of the firm’s Investment Committee. From 2005- 2009, Marc was a Managing Director, the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for Ramius LLC, which followed his role as Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel for The Seaport Group. Seaport was formed in the broker dealer subsidiary of the IPO Group where Marc served as the CEO and which published the IPO.com web site.

Previously, Marc served as the Chief Legal Officer and Managing Director for compliance at T.D. Securities/The Toronto-Dominion Bank. Before T.D., Marc practiced capital markets law at J.P. Morgan Securities, Merrill Lynch and Salomon Brothers. Marc began his legal career as an associate at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver and Jacobson.

Marc has been an active member of the Managed Funds Association where he served on the steering committees for the Hedge Fund Advisory Committee and the General Counsels’ Forum. In addition, Marc is on the board of Bend the Arc and a Director of The NASDAQ Stock Market Educational Foundation, Inc. Marc received his B.A. magna cum laude from Harvard College, earned his M.Sc. from The London School of Economics and received his J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School.

Dr. Ranjan Bhaduri is the Chief Research Officer at Sigma Analysis & Management Ltd.
Dr. Bhaduri’s role includes serving on a joint investment committee of a large institutional
investor’s liquid alpha portfolio. Dr. Bhaduri conducts origination, due diligence, and
hedge fund research. In addition, Dr. Bhaduri is part of the executive management team
at Sigma Analysis.

Dr. Ranjan Bhaduri was previously the Chief Research Officer at AlphaMetrix Alternative
Investment Advisors. At AlphaMetrix, Dr. Bhaduri designed, implemented, and led an
institutional due diligence and research program. Dr. Bhaduri worked closely with
institutional clients on portfolio matters.

Prior to joining AlphaMetrix, he was a Vice President and on an Investment Committee
at Morgan Stanley where he conducted due diligence and helped design customized
portfolios of Alternatives. Earlier, he was at a Canadian Fund of Funds, and at a multibillion dollar capital management firm where he was involved in all aspects of its fund of hedge funds and structured finance business. He has also worked with two major
Canadian investment banks in the Financial Strategy Consulting Group and in Global
Risk Management & Control, respectively.

Dr. Bhaduri has held advisory roles at the East-West Center, a leading think tank on the
Asia-Pacific region, and at ClassMouse, an early stage software company. He has
taught finance and mathematics at several universities and lectured on Derivatives for
the Montreal Exchange. Dr. Bhaduri has done free-lance consulting, where his clients
included hedge funds and institutional investors. Dr. Bhaduri has published papers on,
and been invited to speak worldwide regarding hedge fund issues, and advanced
portfolio and risk management techniques. Dr. Bhaduri was invited by the CME to be
part of a special delegation that met with regulators in Beijing and Taipei to discuss
hedge fund issues.

Dr. Bhaduri holds both the CFA and CAIA charters. He is a member of the American
Mathematical Society, the Mathematical Association of America, the Toronto CFA
Society, and the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP). Dr. Bhaduri
previously served as a member of the All About Alpha Editorial Board, and has
previously served on the CAIA Chicago Chapter Executive. Dr. Bhaduri currently serves
on various committees of AIMA Canada.

Global co-Head of Operational Due Diligence – with +15 years of experience in the hedge fund industry

Mr. N’Dia joined Amundi Alternative Investments in 2008 as co-Head of Operational Due Diligence.  Previously, he led the Operational Due Diligence efforts at JPMorgan Alternative Asset Management and was an Analyst at JPMorgan Securities Inc. under the Cash Management and Funding team. From 1995, He spent three years in a training program at Washington Investment Corporation where he was part of the Trading, Corporate Finance Projects and Controller functions.  Mr. N’Dia began his career, in 1993, at Nestle USA where he spent two years within the Internal Audit Department as a Corporate Auditor. 

Mr. N’Dia holds an Executive M.B.A. from TRIUM, an alliance of NYU Stern School of Business, London School of Economics and HEC School of Management, Paris. He also holds a B.S. in Financial Management and Economics from Catholic University of America Washington, DC.

Stephen B. Bodwell, CPA, Senior Controller of Maverick Stable Funds – Mr. Bodwell joined Maverick Stable in 2011. He joined the firm in 2008, serving as a member of the Hedge Fund Accounting group.

Prior to these experiences, Mr. Bodwell was a Corporate Controller at Builders Blinds of Texas, Inc. and a Manager in the Transaction Advisory Services group at Ernst & Young LLP. Mr. Bodwell received a B.B.A. in Accounting and an M.S. in Finance from Texas A&M University. He also holds a Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement from the CFA Institute.

Mario joined Standard Life Investments in January 2015 as Head of Operational Due Diligence and Business Management, overseeing the ODD coverage and all non-investment activities of the Hedge Fund Solutions team. Previously he was Head of Operational Due Diligence at Vestra Wealth LLP and prior to that he was European Head of Implementations at SS&C GlobeOp. He has almost twenty years’ experience in the hedge fund industry and holds a BA from the University of Bristol in Italian and Spanish. He is also a member of the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst Association. 

Chris is a Partner at Albourne based in the Toronto office where he leads a team of analysts who are responsible for operational due diligence coverage of private market strategies; including private equity, real assets and real estate.  He joined the firm in 2007, prior to that he was at Fidelity Investments (Canada) and Ernst & Young (Canada). Chris holds a BSc Political Science from the University of Western Ontario and is a CAIA charterholder.

Alan is Managing Director of Duff & Phelps’ (Luxembourg) Management Company, Member of the Board of Directors of the Management Company, and Global Head of Management Company and Risk Solutions.

Alan has 15 years experience in the financial industry. As well as structuring the value proposition of the Luxembourg office of Duff & Phelps though his Managing Director role, Alan provides practical operating model solutions to asset managers seeking to navigate the ever-increasingly complex regulatory challenges coming along the AIFMD and UCITS regimes. More specifically, Alan leads Duff & Phelps’ Global Management Company and Risk Solutions, which encapsulates our governance solutions and risk services such as 3rd party UCITS/AIFM services, outsourcing of the Risk Management function, membership in Risk or Valuation Committees, together with some risk advisory and consulting services.

Alan’s subject-matter area of expertise is risk management, a field where he has accumulated a cross-sectional command. This includes financial and operational risk management, across the full spectrum of investment strategies (both UCITS funds and alternative strategies, such as hedge funds, private equity, loans, real estate). Alan has led, and gained experience across, a wide range of risk management assignments, including set-up of risk management functions, the design of risk management processes, the review and validation of a wide range of risk models, together with servicing several asset managers as their permanent risk management function. In addition, Alan is a Conducting Officer for the Management Company, being specifically in charge of the investment management function, including supervision and oversight. Prior to joining Duff & Phelps, Alan was leading the Financial Risk Management service line in Deloitte Luxembourg. He also previously headed risk units in various banking institutions.

Alan is a regular speaker at industry events, commentator and author of numerous published articles, particularly on risk, operational oversight, governance and valuation.

Alan holds a PhD in theoretical physics and is graduated from Ecole Polytechnique in Paris.

Ryan McNelley is a Managing Director in the London office of Duff and Phelps, and part of the Portfolio Valuation service line within the Alternative Asset Advisory business unit. Ryan’s clients primarily include alternative investment managers, including private equity funds, hedge funds, infrastructure funds, real estate debt funds, in both Europe and in the U.S.

Ryan specialises in the valuation of illiquid ("hard-to-value", or Level 3) investments, typically under the IFRS 13, ASC§820 or other local GAAP Fair Value standards used by alternative investment managers.  Ryan’s experience includes the valuation of the following asset types:

•Senior, subordinated, and mezzanine debt; revolving lines of credit, delayed draw facilities, asset backed loans
•Common equity, preferred equity, convertible preferred equity, and hybrid instruments
•Non-performing loans and loan portfolios
•Litigation claims
•Fund management companies, and limited partner interest

Ryan’s other experience also includes the valuation of businesses and intangible assets for a diverse range of corporates, including satellite manufacturers, fixed satellite services operators, telecommunications companies, industrial manufacturers, car and equipment rental companies, as well as numerous other companies for tax and financial reporting purposes under the guidelines of U.S. accounting standard ASC § 805 (formerly SFAS 141) and ASC § 350 (formerly SFAS 142).

Ryan’s past experience includes seven years in various finance and business management roles at Maxim Integrated Products, a Silicon Valley semiconductor company. Ryan received his B.S. in Business and Economics from Saint Mary’s College of California in 1997, and his M.B.A. with a specialization in Corporate Finance from Cornell University in 2006.

David Geffen is President of Geffen Advisors, a consultancy that provides strategic advice and solutions to established hedge funds in areas including prime brokerage, financing, counterparty and liquidity risk management, and trading documentation negotiation.  Geffen Advisors also provides new hedge fund managers advice on foundational aspects of their launches typically including their selection and contract negotiations with prime brokers, administrators and audit firms.  Additionally, the firm offers training on hedge fund topics to hedge fund financing and operations professionals.  Geffen Advisors is headquartered in San Francisco, California, USA. David was previously Managing Director at BlackRock and Barclays Global Investors where he established and managed the hedge fund treasury function.  David is an alumnus of Goldman Sachs, Citibank and Amaranth, and he has been working with hedge funds from the sell-side and buy-side in various capacities for more than 20 years.  David earned a BA degree from Brown University and an MBA from Columbia University.   

Lynne is a Managing Director at ACA. Having joined the firm in 2005, Lynne provides a wide variety of regulatory and compliance consulting services to clients – either on a seconded basis or a more traditional consulting basis. Lynne’s focus is on private funds and discretionary asset managers. She advises both registered and unregistered clients, with respect to the design, drafting and implementation of customized compliance programs. In addition, she performs mock SEC examinations, procedural reviews, forensic testing audits, and other customized services aimed at evaluating and improving compliance with the federal securities laws. Lynne also specializes in assisting advisers with international regulatory issues following her re-location to London.

Lynne began her regulatory career in 2000 as a Securities Compliance Examiner with the Boston District Office of the Securities and Exchange Commission. During her tenure at the SEC, she led or participated in examinations of investment companies, investment advisers, hedge funds, fund administrators, transfer agents and variable insurance product providers. She also participated in several market timing examinations and led a US nationwide SEC focus examination.

Lynne graduated from Trinity College in Washington DC in 1996 where she double majored in Political Science and International Relations. Lynne also attended Vermont Law School where she interned with the Office of Enforcement of the Vermont State Securities Division. Lynne obtained her Juris Doctor from Vermont Law School in 2000.

Flavia joined ACA Compliance (Europe) Limited in September 2011 as an Analyst and subsequently became a Principal Consultant in January 2016. Working within ACA Europe in the London office, Flavia primarily provides ongoing compliance support to FCA-authorized clients, including hedge funds, funds of funds, and private equity firms, as well as providing technical advice on a wide range of issues, including the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive ("AIFMD") and the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive ("MiFID II"). She also maintains ACA Europe’s compliance framework materials, ensuring they reflect European regulatory developments.

Prior to joining ACA, Flavia studied at the University of Exeter, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics with Finance. In addition, she holds a Level 4 Investment Management Certificate from the CFA Society of the United Kingdom.

Richard is the Chief Operating Officer and member of the Risk Committee at ML Capital. In his role, Richard overseas the full operational management of the asset management entity with responsibilities including Fund Structuring & Origination, Service Provider Management and day to day relationship management of ML’s Fund Manager Partners. Prior to joining ML Capital in 2010, he spent 12 months as a senior consultant advising the alternative asset management industry on corporate governance issues post the 2008 crises. Richard spent the first 10 years of his career at Morgan Stanley working within a number of senior roles within Technology, Operations, Equities and Asset Management. Richard read Politics, Philosophy and Economics at the University of Essex.

John Bohan is responsible for Apex within Europe and the
Middle East, and is based in Ireland. John has helped develop a robust framework of control and compliance systems across the Group to international standards, and to the highest levels of excellence required by the Apex mode. Since the Group was founded, Apex has undergone immense change from a small company into an institutionalised group. Continual ability to keep ahead of change and strategising with the CEO has ensured that Apex’s strong growth has been managed across the Group. Prior to joining Apex in April 2004, John held senior management roles with BNY Mellon and Citigroup from 1998-2003.

Brian O'Callaghan is a Non-Executive Director of a number of financial companies, including investment funds and fund managers. During a 20-year career in finance and business, he spent more than a decade as a CEO or COO of investment management firms.

Brian was previously CEO of Compass Asset Management, which was based in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Compass focused on investing in Central Asia through hybrid funds whose mandates included both public markets and private equity. Before joining Compass, Brian was CEO of Renaissance Investment Management UK (RIM UK), part of the emerging markets-focused Renaissance Group. Prior to his appointment as CEO, Brian served as the company’s COO. Before joining Renaissance, Brian co-founded and spent five years as the COO of Holte Capital, a London based, market neutral, special situations fund that focused on Western Europe. Brian began his career in strategy consulting with SJH & Co, initially in Boston, USA, and then later in Warsaw, Poland.

Brian is a Canadian and Irish dual national and resident of Malta, where he has been approved by the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA). Brian holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Harvard University.

A veteran of the financial industry. Areas of expertise are operations and risk management.  holds an MBA from ESSEC and Kellogg School of Management – Northwestern University. Joined Paribas in 1979 where I spent 26 years. In the early years of my career, after an extensive training in Banking and Credit, I became responsible for the financial management of international operations and acting as Secretary to the Board and holding directorships of several subsidiaries. In 1992 I moved to London to set up BNP’s counterparty and market risk systems, followed by a secondment to Banque de France to represent the French Banking Commission in the Basel Committee working group. Between 1996 and 2000, I was deputy head of BNP Paribas Securities Services Bank. I launched BNP’s global prime brokerage business in 2000. I left in 2004 to re-engineer Credit Agricole’s US prime brokerage activities. In 2006, I helped found Reech Alternative Investment Management Group in London and Luxembourg where I was partner, COO, CRO and CFO and served as a director on the fund and management company boards.  This was followed by a similar role for a Paris based boutique hedge fund. I left in 2012 to focus on independent directorships.

Nicola has over 25 years’ experience in the alternative investment sector. In 1990 she founded TASS which became one of the market’s leading research and advisory companies specialising in hedge funds. In 2001 she joined Blackstone and established their hedge fund solutions business in London. From 2008-2012 Nicola was CEO of Alpha Strategic Plc which provides independent, owner managed investment managers with access to passive minority equity capital. She co-founded Dumas Capital in Ireland in 2004; the company provides strategic research & development services. Nicola is a member of the IPAF Group. Nicola has a PhD from Trinity College, Dublin. An Irish resident since 2003, Nicola is a board member of both Irish and Cayman domiciled companies.

Simon has worked in global equity markets for over 36 years, covering all aspects of stockbroking to institutions, hedge funds and alternative investment institutions. Simon began his career at Kleinwort Benson in 1976 and then moved to Morgan Grenfell in New York.   Following positions at BZW, Robert Fleming and Alex Brown, he was approached to set up Collins Stewart in New York, helping grow the team from 7 to over 100 people.  Simon led the Global Sales Trading desk at JP Morgan Cazenove from 2008 until 2014, when he left to take up a limited number of non-executive directorships in positions where his deep understanding of equity hedge fund trading strategies is highly valued. He is registered with NASDAQ in the Series 63, 55 and 7, and is a Registered Principal (Series 24 - Compliance and Regulatory oriented). He holds the Canadian Registered Representative license.
