TransFin was first held in Barcelona in 2003. From its inception, TransFin has always attracted a senior audience and is now well established as the 'must attend' transport and transport related infrastructure finance conference. Attracting in excess of 280 people in July 2008, TransFin brings together the leading financiers, investors, transport contractors and sponsors as well as public sector procurement agencies all under one roof.
TransFin offers a unique opportunity to hear about the latest transport deals before their details hit the press as well as the opportunity to understand the latest innovative financing strategies. With great crisis comes great opportunity and in face of a global downturn, transport and infrastructure financiers are turning to new financing mechanisms and organisations. Just as TransFin speakers and delegates have previously tackled issues related to excess liquidity, so will they now turn their minds to focus on creative solutions for financing transport in today's economic environment.
