James Courtenay was appointed Global Head of Project and Export Finance in January 2009.  He manages a team of over 100 professionals based in London, Dubai and Singapore, with additional offices in a variety of locations including New York, Hong Kong, Johannesburg, Tokyo, Seoul and Beijing.

Noburu Kato
Noburu Kato GM, Co-Head, Structured Finance SMBC

Noburu joined SMBC in 1985 and has over 19 years experience in project finance, based in New York, Hong Kong and Tokyo.  He currently oversees project finance (PFI/PPP, Energy, Transport etc.), ECA, advisory, Islamic finance and environmental projects in the EMEA region.

Mkhuseli Faku

Mkhuseli Faku has extensive experience in the South African oil industry. He is a non-executive director of Total South Africa and has been a member of the Executive Committee of the World Petroleum Congress (South Africa), Deputy Chairman of the Nepad Energy Sector Committee and Chairman of the African Minerals and Energy Forum.

Noubi has been with Total for 9 years during which he held several positions in Trading & Shipping and Corporate Finance. He was previously with Société Générale where he spent 6 years in various positions.
