An organisation’s intellectual capital – its collective knowledge and experience – is its most valuable and invisible asset. This means that locating and retaining knowledge workers is the single most important challenge for any company competing in the changing environment. Why? Knowledge capital is often untapped capital because it resides entirely within the people of the organisation who are connected in invisible “informal” networks.

This workshop will help you visualise and diagnose the informal networks in your company and thereby leverage the human knowledge capital embedded in those networks for a variety of strategic initiatives. It’s not just the training and skills that go into developing a person; it’s how that person is strategically connected in networks and placed in a work environment. Since business is only as good as its next idea, executives and managers must methodically, efficiently and strategically mine knowledge capital to guide innovation.

Using IT effectively requires changes on multiple dimensions simultaneously, including incentives, decision rights, customer interactions, and business processes. In this workshop you will learn how to use a tool called the Matrix of Change for visualizing, understanding and managing multiple dimensions of change, and their many interactions, as well as the fundamental principles behind successful change management. 

This tool has been used in hundreds of organizations worldwide and by the end of the workshop, you will have the skills needed to apply it in your own business.
