And don't just take out word for it, here's some of the superb feedback we have received:

”I much enjoyed my participation. There is great value in having speakers who can set a wider context for narrower issues. You are on the right lines with the speakers on the two succeeding sessions on broader future technology and cyber-security issues and the direct implications for law firms and the challenges for business and IT strategy. I also thought the venue was very good."

Alan Jenkins, Chairman, EVERSHEDS

I haven't attended for a few years but I thoroughly enjoyed the new format conference. The two days were nicely filled with good topical content and the chance to catch up with a few old friends. The quality of delegate and speaker was high and I look forward to next year. ”.

Tim Hyman, IT Director, TAYLOR WESSING

“The event was a substantial improvement on last year. Fantastic and strategic keynote speakers. They were all first class and back to what this event is all about ie strategy. The live benchmarking session between PA and BDO was great too. The location was good and was easy to reach by rail and was also mid-way between North and South.“

Julie Berry, IT Director, REYNOLDS PORTER CHAMBERLAIN

“I heard nothing but praise. People were commenting on how good the speakers were and the topics very relevant. The on stage debates were great, the right level of participant and the discussions were open and frank. The round tables were practical and great value from an operational front. A great event. ”

Julie Berry, IT Director, REYNOLDS PORTER CHAMBERLAIN

““With events like these, content, good company, and the feeling that you have gained something when it ends always make events memorable and worth attending. So well done for a wonderful event. The content was good, the first morning sessions particularly on the billing structure and responding to change were all very relevant. It was quite a packed schedule yet there was still enough time to network. the round table sessions were lively and interesting and gaining/sharing insight into what firms are doing is always valuable particularly when you share the same successes or pain! ”

Christel Aguila, IT & Development Manager, WINCKWORTH SHERWOOD

“ Very enjoyable, good venue, well done! ”

Derek Southall, Partner, WRAGGE & CO

“May I congratulate you on such a well hosted event? It has several years since I attended the Legal IT Forum, and I thought that this one was excellent. There were several reasons – the shorter schedule, thought provoking roundtables, and the new themes that were being addressed. Even though the event was condensed into two days, I think there were enough opportunities to network and discover the sort of issues that other law firms are having. ”.

Dominic Hayes, Head of IT, WALKER MORRIS

A big “A good venue which worked well in terms of the accommodation, facilities, and conference rooms – and I also enjoyed the gala dinner. The quality of the speakers was good, and I found the introductory sessions both interesting and thought provoking. I particularly liked the interview by Janet Day on the second day. There was a good atmosphere throughout and I appreciated that the roundtables were helpful and informative - the LITIG session on Case Management and Julie Berry roundtable on MI were particularly relevant for me. Overall - much of the content was of interest to me - given the business context at BLM.”

Fran Evans, IT Director, BERRYMANS LACE MAWER

"I thought some of the content was excellent - and several of the roundtable sessions were also very good indeed and the whole content level was useful.  As always I find the quiet conversations with a colleague who you do not see that often interesting, refreshing and valuable. ."

Janet Day, IT Director, BERWIN LEIGHTON PAISNER

“The venue was good - close enough to London by train that you don't spend hours travelling.  The conference facilities were good, the meals well organised and tasty. The  speakers were interesting including more non-legal insights which I think is good – providing more perspectives and less insular views.   Personally I liked the chap who did the cyber crime talk - interesting and relevant even if not particularly aligned with legal IT.  The roundtables were very good - all interesting and interactive lots of people offering ideas and talking about their experiences.   I personally think the roundtables are the best format and I think I get more from them than anything providing a constructive liveliness which is good.  The social side is always good. Thanks to the team for looking after us”

Karen Jacks, IT Director, BIRD & BIRD

"The format was superb.  The keynote speeches were thought-provoking and stimulating, the panel discussions informative and enlightening. What I particularly enjoyed was Janet Day's interview with Mary Henshaw. Outstanding"

Thereza Snyman, IT Manager, BOODLE HATFIELD

"I thought the conference was very informative and particularly enjoyed the roundtable discussions.  I thought the venue was very good and also the social side of the event - the food was superb.  A very good event that I'm pleased I had the opportunity to attend.”

Sharon Fox, IT Director, BROWNE JACOBSON

"I really enjoyed the event especially Rob Levin, he has a great depth of knowledge. The Cloud panel discussion was pretty lively and it showed that there seems to be demand for legal specific Cloud Services. It's always good to catch-up with colleagues in other parts of the industry. Once again the organisation was excellent a credit to you and your team. ”

Conor O'Brien, Head of IT Service Delivery & Operations EVERSHEDS

"Delegates heading back from the New Legal IT Forum, which ended earlier this afternoon at the St Pierre Marriott near Chepstow (or Newport), have been phoning in to give the event a thumb's up – well maybe a two-and-a-half thumbs out of three rating. As one said "It was much better than we thought it would be, with a good calibre of delegates.”

ORANGE RAG BLOG

“All the folks I spoke with all agreed that it was a great conference with excellent content in a great location”

Matthew Cleverdon, IT Director, WRIGHT HASSELL

"A very good quality event – everyone I spoke to seemed to enjoy the event and there was substantial networking. The venue was also good and convenient too ”

Kevin Goosman, IT Director, COBBETTS

"I found it very useful and it was a good opportunity to meet more of my peers as I am relatively new to the legal sector. The discussions were certainly relevant to me and worthwhile. The venue was also pretty good. Having a properly sponsored bar was also a nice touch. ”.

James Rushton, IT Manager, PENNINGTONS SOLICITORS

“yes, everyone said that the programme was great and the venue even better. The food was amazing for a large crowd - and this was reiterated by a lot of peoplec”
