NEW Focus on the German Market
The 2009 Global Airport Development conference is coming to Berlin in November and we are looking forward to welcoming CEOs from Germany's leading airports to share their insights into airport management in this growing market and the most interesting development stories.
We are delighted to welcome Rainer Schwarz, CEO, BERLIN AIRPORTS to share the latest news from the development of Berlin Brandenburg International Airport. Find out about the strategy and business plans for the new airport and the complexities of the financing of Europe's largest infrastructure project.
To answer all of your questions on the unique Munich and Lufthansa partners, we welcome Michael Kerkloh, CEO, MUNICH AIRPORT who will share his views on how airport and airline partnerships can be leveraged to help both parties through today's turbulent times.
Strategy & Practice Roundtables
GAD is the airport industry's premier networking event.
So that you have all the time you need to get to the bottom of important topics on the agenda and greater opportunity to get to know other delegates, we are running a new format to take the place of the usual power point presentations. The Strategy and Practise roundtables are designed to facilitate interactivity, greater discussion and more networking! The format runs as follows:
- Each strategy roundtable is hosted by a key expert in the area
- The roundtables last 20 minutes & are repeated 3 times
- No need to pre register - if the session you want is full just go to another one and wait for the next round to start
- After 20 minutes a whistle will blow, move on if you want, if not carry on networking!
NEW Central European Venue
|
In 2009 GAD is flying into one of Europe's most historical cities - Berlin! 300 Airport CEOs, financiers, investors and advisors will be enjoying 4 days of interactive debate, informative presentations and non-stop networking! With its unique urban landscape and historical legacy, Berlin is a growing city of culture and learning and one of Europe's most exciting cities. One of the most interesting hotels in historical Berlin Mitte, the 5 star Ra disson Blu Hotel features the world's largest cylindrical aquarium with 2,500 tropical fish. The AquaDom is 25 metres high and situated in the hotel lobby. It is an excellent location from which to explore the old city sights.
