Where Have We Come From?
FundForum Latin America is part of ICBI’s FundForum Global Series and was launched in September 2008. The series’ flagship FundForum International conference, now in its 19th year is the longest running and largest mutual fund event in Europe, with over 1500 global asset managers, distributors, analysts, advisors, academics and other leading experts participating each year. In 2007, we launched in Asia and the Middle East. Both conferences are now considered to be the leading regional investment management events. FundForum Latin America attracted over 250 delegates, a third of which were fund selectors, to Sao Paulo. The aim for 2009 is to build on this success and establish the brand in the region.
Audience Profile
The event has attracted around 250 attendees in its first year from all over Latin America and beyond. Attendees include CEOs / CIOs /Fund Managers/Heads of Business Development/Heads of Marketing and other senior executives from the Fund Manufacturers, Multi-Managers, Fund of Funds, Retail & Private Banks, Insurance Companies, Fund Platforms, Investment Banks, Custodians, Transfer Agents, & their advisors.
