NEWSFLASH! - We are delighted to announce a very exciting addition to our prestigious speaker line-up. Dr. Richard G. Newell from the EIA has accepted our invitation to join us in Amsterdam for a Special Keynote Session on Tuesday March 2nd. What's more, his presentation will focus on what is surely one of the most important issues in the global gas industry: "Shale Gas: A Game Changer For U.S. And Global Gas Markets?" Changes brought on by the rapid increase in shale gas reserves and production in the United States are reverberating in both domestic and international gas markets. Dr. Newell will review recent shale gas activity in the U.S., the prospects for future production increases, and likely effects on U.S. energy markets. He will also outline the potential for similar increases in shale gas production in other regions including Europe, China and Australia. Finally, he will describe the likely effects of these changes on global gas markets, including potential increases in gas consumption and likely alterations in global gas trading patterns. This is a fantastic opportunity to hear about one of the most critical issues from one of the industry's most respected authorities.
