Year on year the Legal IT Forum is renowned as the perfect annual meeting place to catch up with old friends and to forge brand new connections in an exclusive but friendly atmosphere. In addition to a great range of conference sessions the programme offers a number of unrivalled highly focussed networking opportunities with our CIO Community from across the UK and the rest of Europe.
2012 Networking opportunities included:
Welcome drinks and Informal Curry Night Supper. An opportunity to catch up with peers and sponsors and to hear about everyone's latest developments. The evening continued after dinner with a complimentary late night networking bar.
After a full day of sessions and strategy labs on Day 1, attendees enjoyed a formal champagne reception followed by the Legal IT Forum Black-Tie Gala Dinner. In addition, for 2012 we announced an exceptional after-dinner speaker:
Robin Dunbar, Professor of Evolutionary Anthropology, UNIVERSITY OF OXFORD: "Dunbar’s Number And The Implications For Social Networking" Dunbar’s initial research on social networks was inspired by primates grooming each other. So we were confident that he had an interesting perspective on how lawyers can manage their client network!
This was followed by a complimentary late networking bar.
On the final day, after a full morning of sessions the event ended with an informal lunch prior to transfers to the station.
""I Really enjoyed it. It was an excellent use of two days""
"A very good quality event – everyone I spoke to seemed to enjoy the event and there was substantial networking. The venue was also good and convenient too."
