View The Delegate List And Set Up Meetings
Brand new for 2010 - we introduced My Geneva Forum. This is an on-line networking tool whereby:
· you can load your profile onto this web-based system for other participants to view
· you can access the delegate list and view the provided profiles, thus gaining a better understanding of which other participants may be of interest to you
· you can make contact with other registered delegates - enabling you to set up meetings before the event and thus maximise your time at the conference.
The system went live 2 weeks before the event and all registered (and fully) paid delegates, guests and speakers were sent their login details
Meet The Airline/Lender Speed Networking
In order to facilitate the meeting of airlines and lenders, we held a 'Meet The Airline Speed Networking Session' during the coffee break on Day 2. Each airline was placed at a different table and a lender was placed opposite them. These then spend 1 minute at that table – during which tehy were able to swap business cards and briefly explain their interests before moving on. After the session, some delegates chose to revert to people they have met for a longer chat.
This is a quick and highly efficient way for lenders and airlines to meet.
2 Packed Cocktail Parties
The welcome cocktail was held on the evening of the 24th at the President Wilson and on the following evening, Aviation Capital Group hosted a Cocktail Reception, also at the President Wilson.
20 Champagne Roundtables
These ever popular, end-of-day Champagne Roundtables provided informal opportunities to discuss issues of common concern and to meet other aviation experts with similar interests and concerns.
